The UMUC Inn and Conference Center will not be able to accommodate any overnight guests at this time. Conference rates have been arranged at two nearby hotels. (about 3 miles away) Holiday Inn College Park provides a shuttle service to the Inn. Conference rate is $79 plus tax. (301.345.6700). Greenbelt Marriott offers conference rates at $115 plus tax.(301.441.3700). SPACE WILL NOT BE HELD AFTER OCTOBER 19.
Driving time from Baltimore-Washington Airport is about 40 minutes, from Dulles about 45 minutes, and National about 30 minutes, in non rush-hour traffic. Shuttle services run about $35-45. Very reliable service that will meet your flight with an advance reservation and deliver you directly to your hotel is Corporate Wheels, 301.627.9297.
College Park is on the Washington Metro's Green line, but the College Park station is several miles from the campus and Inn. Shuttle busses are available to campus and a short 10 minute walk will take you to the Inn. A taxi is the quickest way to the Inn and fares run about $5.
The University of Maryland University College (UMUC) is located on a corner of the University of Maryland College Park campus inside the Capitol Beltway.
From the 495 Beltway, take Exit 28B (New Hampshire Ave South toward Takoma Park). This exit is the first one after the intersection of Fwy 95 from Baltimore as you go West. Proceed to the 2nd stoplight and move into the left lane. Turn LEFT onto Adelphi Road. Continue 2.5 miles past the National Archives. At the large intersection with University Avenue, turn LEFT and then immediately RIGHT into the parking garage area of UMUC. Circle the garage to the right and enter on the lowest level. 301.985-7300. Parking is available in the garage adjacent to the Center at a rate of 50A2 per hour, $5 maximum.
