I think some interesting stuff will come out of work with children. They
have fewer preconceived notions about interfaces being "the best of all
possible worlds"

Kidpad is a project to watch. They've got a zoomable user interface which
they've given to children for collaboration and storytelling. Stories become
visual because the writing surface has no physical size constraints. (Still
