Information Visualization is a new, international, peer-reviewed journal
publishing articles on fundamental research and applications of
information visualization.

"Information Visualization is a new international, peer-reviewed journal
publishing articles on fundamental research and applications of
information visualization. The journal will act as a dedicated forum for
the theories, methodologies, techniques and evaluations of information
visualization and its applications.    (02)

The scope of the journal will include,but is not limited to:    (03)

   * Design theories and methodologies
   * Applications and case studies
   * Perception and cognitive factors
   * Evaluation and usability studies
   * Interactive data exploration
   * Standards and visualization languages
   * Multidimensional and multivariate analysis
   * Knowledge discovery and visual data mining
   * Requirement engineering and task analysis    (04)

Authors are invited to submit papers for the first volume. For

The journal will be a core vehicle for establishing a generic research
agenda for the field by identifying and developing the unique and
significant aspects of information visualization. Communication will be
promoted between information visualization specialists and an
interdisciplinary audience. Emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary
material and on the close connection between theory and

ISSN: 1473-8716, Volume 1 will consist of 4 issues and will be published
