    Technology Program (ATP) has recently announced $60 million in funding
    opportunities through its program. ATP partners with industry on high-risk,
    high-tech research. Technologies funded in the past range from advanced
    manufacturing to medicine and from advanced materials to microelectronics.

    > The ATP will hold its Proposers? Meetings on January 30, February 1, and
    6, 2001, in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Gaithersburg, Maryland at the locations
    listed below. There is no requirement to attend these meetings in order to
    make application for funding. These meetings are intended to provide
    general information regarding the ATP, tips on preparing good proposals, and
    an opportunity for audience questions. The newly streamlined proposal
    submission process will also be discussed. The format and content of each
    of the public meetings will be the same. There is no registration fee.
