I am completing my PhD in Computer Science and Educational Psychology
through The Union Institute. The title of my thesis is:
Individualized Learning through Multi-Intelligent Adaptive Hypermedia.
I am looking for people to participate in a Web-based research study.
Participation will take approximately one hour of time in two phases:
1) Questionnaires (20-30 minutes) to be completed between August 13
and 20, 2001
2) Online course module in Legacy Systems Integration with Web
Technology (for software engineers/Web developers) or Overview of
Internet and Web Technology (for non-technical Web users), and
evaluation (30-40 minutes) to be completed between August 24 and 31,
The online course for technical participants is a module of a course
on Web Technology that I have taught at the Stanford University
Western Institute of Computer Science (WICS) summer program for
industry professionals and at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to
students in the Master's degree program in Electronic Commerce and
The online course for non-technical Web users provides a brief
overview of Internet and Web technology.
