At a recent meeting with Jon Bosak, he referred us to Robin Cover's
SGML/XML Web Page as being one of the most comprehensive listing of XML
activities around. That site is hosted under OASIS (Organization for the
Advancement of Structured Information Standards) at
<http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/sgml-xml.html>

I went there, and, WOW! ... Highly recommended.

In particular, I would like to draw your attention to the huge
application efforts already out there. I counted, as of this writing, a
total of 312 initiatives, including :

General SGML/XML Applications
<http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/gen-apps.html> -- 59 apps
Academic Applications <http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/acadapps.html>
-- 109 apps
Government, Military and Heavy Industry Applications
<http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/gov-apps.html> -- 20 apps
Proposed XML Applications and Industry Initiatives
<http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/xml.html#applications> -- 124 apps

Ruth/Adam, I guess we should get our effort listed there too. That'll
probably help point people this way.

Regards,
PPY
