Videotapes of the symposium will be available for purchase through the Stanford Channel after its rebroadcast in May. VHS tapes can be purchased by calling (650) 723-5100 and following the voice prompts for ordering tapes. Tapes are $24.60 each.
There's also a possibility that it will be available as a streaming video archive through Dr. Dobb's Journal. Check out the Symposium web site at http://www.stanford.edu/dept/symbol/Hofstadter-event.html for updates about whether that happens.
