    However, design itself (at this juncture) is a trial
    and error process. Even in graphic design and architecture,
    multiple designs are tried, and one selected.

    I've been doing that kind of trial and error process,
    believe me. Only I've been doing it with snips of
    code that I haven't even bothered to compile.

    There is a functional "gestalt" that has to be present,
    I believe. Beyond that, there are many ways to grow.
    I'm working on too many things at the moment, though.
    When I have time, I find myself doing more decompressing
    than hacking. That's slowing things up more than
    anything.
