is, by far, the most important paper here. I can't recall how many times I
have read it, each time with new insight. Right now, I am printing a paper
by Heyligen called Relational Closure

useful.

In the very long run, and a point that I think John is trying to make, we
need to avail ourselves of a vast literature "out there" that plays to our
future needs for knowledge representation. My thinking has it that there is
probably a convergence somewhere in the work of
    C.S. Peirce
    A. Shopenhaur
    J. Sowa
    G. Pask
    K. Popper
    and probably a few others.
