[ba-ohs-talk] New backlink metadata; mhpurple v0.2 released

Gary,    (01)

It takes 1 - 10 seconds to grab a link for purple numbers, and it
takes about the same time to link to anything else. For example, here
is a link on stuff about Sparrow that John Maloney submitted a few
says ago....    (02)

Here is a link to the original source....    (04)

It is difficult to see how purple or anything else is a real issue
with respect to improving productivity. Not only is creating links,
but so too is judicious review set out on 990419.....    (06)

...to redress the problem Eric Armstrong and others cite about a
connected environment boggling the mind on 000125....    (08)

In truth, while linking is useful, it is only a small part of what is
needed for using technology to augment intelligence that saves time
and money, and which worried Eric on 011003....    (010)

My sense is that Jeff's upcoming workshop might shed some light on
Jack Park's idea for a glass bead mister, or something like that, to
help folks get through the learning curve on the benefit of adding
intelligence to management. The core of it is moving from information
to a culture of knowledge, which has been a sore subject from our
first discussion on 000120, and will remain so until more people get
into the swing of integrating time and information, per POIMS, as your
noted in your letter on 011210.    (012)
