NOTES:

  1. Viewspec shortcut codes added:
  2. Viewspecs
    Description
    i / j
    Filtered view On / Off

  3. Filters can be entered as a simple literal text string as demonstrated, or be constructed from a regular expression as indicated in the Filter dialog box "Use pattern matching" option, utilizing the NLS/Augment "content analyzer" offering a simple syntax for specifying variables in a filter. The content analyzer takes advantage of all the Augment file attributes – see Special attributes embedded in an Augment file in Section 3.6 of this demo. So for example you can search for all statements in the file containing a 5-digit number that were last edited by John before Tuesday. See also Controlling the Views in the Authorship paper (OAD,2250,7).

  4. Augment does not actually highlight the filtered content. This was intended to be added in VAT but never got to it. So I added the highlighting essentially as an overlay to the screencast to help you track what is going on.
