This year marks the 50th anniversary of Doug Engelbart's seminal 1968 Demo – also known as "The Mother of All Demos." It was there at the 1968 Fall Joint Computer Conference that Doug and his team at SRI first presented their seminal work in personal and interactive computing to the world – including the world debut of the mouse, online knowledge work with hypermedia and teleconferencing, and much, much more. Watch this short video tribute for a glimpse of the demo in the context of Doug's vision for the future. Planning is now in the works for some exciting ways to celebrate, including the day long Engelbart Symposium in Silicon Valley in December.
