RE: [ba-ohs-talk] Wiki experiences?

There is a web site for "The Wiki Way" book at http://www.wiki.org/    (01)

The software is available from there. There is an extremely simple minded
HTTP server that runs well enough to host the very simple wiki
implementations that come with the book. The code is easy to hack if you
understand Perl, and bringing up either of the wikis was simplicity itself.
I moved to Apache and Twiki for the challenge as much as the abilities.
The TinyWeb server http://www.ritlabs.com/tinyweb/ is a free web server that
works quite well for the wikis from the book. There is a GUI interface
called TinyBox tat provides better control over TinyWeb.
The result is a free and relatively easy way to experiment with wiki. It is
simple enough to use on your own desktop and to experiment with for
organizing information.
